Service Description
Join me for my popular watercolour class 'Painting Gum Leaves'. In this relaxed, nature-inspired watercolour class, we’ll focus on capturing the subtle beauty of the iconic Australian eucalyptus leaf. Using real leaves as reference, you’ll learn how to observe shape, structure and colour, and translate those details into a realistic watercolour study. This class is suitable for beginner botanical artists. All materials are provided (or bring your own favourites!) What you get: * 3 hours of watercolour painting tuition with accomplished botanical artist Lauren May SK. * High quality materials provided to use- no need to bring anything! * Your own unique gum leaf study painting to take home. * Practical watercolour painting techniques you can apply to other subjects and paintings in the future. * Access for the day to the beautiful grounds of the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens. Tea/coffee/food available to purchase on site from the Kookaburra Café.

Cancellation Policy
Fees must be paid in full at the time of booking. Please notify us at your earliest convenience if you are no longer able to attend the class for any reason. Cancellations made a week or more before the scheduled class date will be refunded whenever possible. In the case of a refund not being possible then the class fee will become credit for a future workshop. Another option is to gift your class space to friend or loved one- your booking is fully transferrable. If you are absent on the day without any notice given we are not obligated to provide any refunds or transfers. We make every effort to run every single class we schedule. However, in the event that a class is cancelled due to reasons outside of our control students will be notified via email as soon as possible and entitled to a full refund or credit.
