Why the grey option?

Having the lighter line work allows you to use the drawing as a guide for more sophisticated artwork. You can even use the grey version for watercolour painting! Feed an A4 sheet of watercolour paper (around 185gsm) straight into your printer and print the design directly onto your paper*. The grey ink is much more subtle and you are less likely to have printer ink bleeding into your wet paint.

*Success with this technique may vary depending on your printer. Printing the black option onto regular printer paper and then tracing the design onto your watercolour paper is always an alternative option.​
